A "sub zero" cold room has been incorporated into Onspot's new manufacturing facility that was built in June of 1997. The intent is to better test the Onspot Automatic Tire Chain performance and durability in extremely cold temperatures. The photo shows a Model 04 Onspot running at -20 degrees F. Knowledge gained from testing such as this has helped Onspot in developing an "Arctic" specification for use in extreme climates.
