After retrofitting several medium duty ambulances with Onspot automatic tire chains, Fairfax County has chosen to include Onspots as a factory installed option on all their new medium duty ambulances ordered over the next 5 years. Currently the County is taking delivery of seven FL-60 Freightliner/Medicmaster ambulances that are being built at American LaFrance's Oklahoma plant. Each vehicle will be equipped with Onspot automatic chains in conjunction with rear mount IPD sway bars.
