ONSPOT AVAILABILITY

FOR

FOCAL DRIVELINE RETARDERS

BACKGROUND:       Many fire trucks are being delivered with focal or nosecone driveline retarders. In most cases the fuel tank is directly behind the rear axle and the retarder is in front of the rear axle preventing the ONSPOTS from being installed.

NEW RELEASE:        ONSPOT now has a new model released that may be mounted behind the rear axle yet is very short so it fits between the rear axle and the fuel tank.

CAUTION:                  We still need some room between the rear axle face and the front of the fuel tank. To be exact, we need 20 1/2" between the rear axle and the front of the fuel tank. Additionally, the BB dimension on the VSI from needs to be at least 14 1/2". (most fire trucks have a BB of 15" or more)

SPECIFICATIONS:    Please let your customers know of this availability, particular if they are specing out new vehicles. Some OEMS have agreed to position their fuel tanks to accept this new ONSPOT model.
